LAURA EILEEN BRINTON MCCALLUM
July 24, 1951 - October 21, 2021
Laura was a creative, kind, smart, strong, and funny member of the Applegate Art Guild. Among the last children in the U.S. afflicted by polio before the development of the Salk vaccine, she used a wheelchair her entire life. She was a skilled artist, taking classes at the University of Oregon and Lane Community College and acquiring new skills from various sources her entire life.

ROBERTA AKERS GAMBLE (BOBBIE)
October 10, 1933 - July 21, 2022
Bobbi had been a creative, talented member of the Applegate Art Guild since 1987 and had held many of its offices. When volunteers were called for and there was a dead silence in the room, Bobbi would usually say, "Well, if nobody else will, I suppose I could." She was as dependable as a rock and had some of the most willing hands around.
